Club Summary :
Originally founded in 1887 as The Edinburgh & Leith Model Yacht Club, the Club has sailed continuously to the present.
Our sailing station is in Inverleith Park which enjoys some of the most beautiful City views available looking south across the magnificent “New Town” and on towards “The Castle”, “The Old Town” and “Royal Mile” with “Arthur’s Seat” and “Salisbury Crags” as a backdrop.
Racing yachts catered for are:
Radio 10 Rater;
6 Metre both Radio and Free Sailing;
Marblehead both Radio and Free Sailing;
Radio 1 Metres and
Sailing is on Saturday afternoons from March till November, 2pm till 5pm, during which time all enquiries are welcome.
